グラハム・クラーク Graham Clarke
1941年 イギリス、オックスフォード生まれ。
1964年 ロンドン王立美術学校卒業。
1965年 版画集『バーレン・アンド・バーレン』出版。
1972年 『ワット・タイラーの幻想』出版。（アルバート博物館所蔵）
1981年 フランスで個展。『カエルの味』出版。
1985年 サンフランシスコで個展。 ファイドン・プレス版『自伝画集』出版。
1987年 ノルウェー、オランダで個展。 日本橋三越等日本全国で初来日記念展開催。
1988年 エセックス州での個展にエリザベス女王来場。
1989年 広島平和記念館に『ダンス・フォア・ピース』寄贈。
1990年 ファイドン・プレス版『大工ヨセフとその息子』出版。 ウェルデンスタインギャラリーで水彩画展。
1992年 『シェイクスピア・ジェント』出版。 マーガレット・サッチャー氏に水彩画を贈呈。
1993年 最優秀芸家賞“アーティスト・オブ・イヤー”受賞。
1994年 講談社より『グラハム・クラークの世界』出版。 中田厚仁氏記念基金チャリティー展覧会開催。
1995年 神戸震災チャリティー版画『ヴィンテージ・ポート』制作。
1996年 オスロで大回顧展開催。『ロフォテンの英国人』出版。
1998年 アムネスティ世界人権宣言５０周年記念版画『自由の鳥』制作。
1999年 水彩画集『ケント』『コーンウォール』出版。 英国ワイン協会の設立125周年記念版画制作。
2000年 英国教会ステンドグラス『光あれ』制作。
2002年 BBC放送のエリザベス女王戴冠50周年特別番組を制作。 日英グリーン同盟記念ポスター制作。
2004年 『世界子供会議 in ひょうご2005』ポスターデザイン制作。
2005年 『大ロンドン』（ローザンヌ国際オリンピック博物館所蔵）
2008年 国際慈善団体MAKE-A-WISHチャリティ用に『輪になって』制作
2009年 白血病研究施設設立基金援助に『ワイルドローバー』制作
2011年 英国ワイン協会記念版画『実りの季節』制作
2012年 英国ナショナルシアターで個展。オリンピック記念ポスター制作。
2014年 ロンドンのシェイクスピアズ・グローブ座で1月～4月個展開催。
2015年 大憲章（マグナカルタ)制定８００年記念劇を各地で公演。

Graham Clarke
Born 1941 in Oxford, England.
Graduated from the Royal College of Art, London in 1964.
Published the print collection “Bahren and Bahren” in 1965.
Published “The Fantasy of Wat Tyler” in 1972 (in the collection of the Albert Museum).
Held a solo exhibition in France in 1981. Published “The Taste of Frogs.”
Held a solo exhibition in San Francisco in 1985. Published “Autobiographical Illustrations” by Phaidon Press.
Held solo exhibitions in Norway and the Netherlands in 1987. Held commemorative exhibitions in Japan, including at Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi.

1988: Queen Elizabeth II visited his solo exhibition in Essex.
1989: Donated “Dance for Peace” to the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum.
1990: Published “Joseph the Carpenter and His Son” by Phaidon Press. Held a watercolor exhibition at the Weldenstein Gallery.
1992: Published “Shakespeare Gent.” Presented a watercolor painting to Margaret Thatcher.
1993: Received the “Artist of the Year” award.
1994: Published “The World of Graham Clark” by Kodansha. Held a charity exhibition for the Atsuhito Nakata Memorial Fund.
1995: Created the Kobe Earthquake charity print “Vintage Port.”
1996: Held a major retrospective exhibition in Oslo. Published “The Englishman of Lofoten.” 1998: Created the print “Bird of Freedom” to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Amnesty International’s Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
1999: Published watercolor collections “Kent” and “Cornwall.” Created a print to commemorate the 125th anniversary of the British Wine Association.
2000: Created the stained glass window “Let There Be Light” for a church in England.
2002: Produced a special program for the BBC commemorating the 50th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II’s coronation. Created a poster commemorating the Anglo-Japanese Green Alliance.
2004: Designed the poster for the “World Children’s Conference in Hyogo 2005.”
2005: “Great London” (Collection of the Lausanne International Olympic Museum)
2008: Created “In a Circle” for the international charity MAKE-A-WISH.
2009: Created “Wild Rover” to support the establishment of a leukemia research facility.
2011: Created the print “Harvest Season” to commemorate the British Wine Association.
2012: Held a solo exhibition at the National Theatre in the UK. Created Olympic commemorative posters.

Held a solo exhibition at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre in London from January to April 2014.

Performed a play commemorating the 800th anniversary of the Magna Carta in various locations in 2015.
